Flow rate sensors, which are components used in process measurement and control technology, can be used to measure the flow rate of liquid and gaseous substances. The sensors are located close to the engine and are therefore exposed to extreme environmental conditions. Such measurement information is often required for automotive applications, as well as for uses in the industrial sector. |

Product Description
The glass-to-metal sealed feedthroughs are used to package the sensors safely and ensure that the sensors are provided with power. The platform headers can also be manufactured to larger scales for the industrial sector. Product Advantages Thanks to the use of special types of glass and metal in their manufacture, our sensors are extremely resistant to the gases being measured. They are furthermore impervious to temperature fluctuations and other physical and chemical stresses. Applications The mass flow sensor is used in automotive engineering, gas turbine and condensing boiler technology. In diesel and petrol engines, as well as gas turbines, this sensor is used to control fuel injection quantity. Other areas of application include the chemical industry, petrochemical industry and food production, where flow sensors are generally employed to measure liquid substances. Technology The platform headers, which are manufactured using pressure glazing technology, are made using special types of glass with high corrosion and shock resistance. In addition, to ensure the reliable hermeticity of these housing components, glass-to-metal sealing technology is used. Please click on this page for more information.
