Anti-theft devices prevent the unauthorized use of vehicles. They operate by checking authentication codes, which are generally incorporated into the vehicle’s key in the form of a radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip. If the chip is unable to authenticate the gadget used to start the vehicle, the anti-theft device will prevent the vehicle from starting.
