Hermetic housings made of glass and metal, ceramic and metal, as well as full ceramic housings, offer reliable protection, but also ensure a continuous power supply, as well as transmission of the information from the components. Optical elements like windows can also be integrated in such packages. Unlike conventional housings, the materials that SCHOTT Electronic Packaging uses provide complete hermetic protection. The sealing technology helps to prevent moisture from penetrating into the inside of the housing and causing internal corrosion. In addition to being autoclavable, our sensor packages are also temperature and shock resistant. Thanks to the broad range of materials and housing types, our products are ideal for use in all areas of medical technology. Please refer to the following pages for more information. |
